Mengatasi “Could not mount” NTFS Partition dari Ubuntu

:-(….  (halah gombal…sok puitis), isi pesannya adalah:

A problem has detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer …dan seterusnya

kemudian saya mencoba restart dengan berbagai mode  “normal”, “last best configuration”, “safe mode”, “safe mode on command prompt”, tapi hasilnya nihil, kemaren temen ku mas Widi nawarin untuk pake windows portable terus di scandisk dan defrag (belum dicoba, katanya dia pernah punya pengalaman serupa, hal ini karena file nya jadi tercecer hingga menyebabkan pengalamatan hard disk kacau.. gak salah dia bilang gitu), hal pertama yang saya pikirkan adalah untuk menyelamatakan file di partisi NTFS (back up), ….. jurus linux (ubuntu) pun digunakan…..senjata pertama adalah mounting dengan  “partition editor (gparted)” … senjata kedua  “terminal” … dengan bantuan “ntfs-3g” dan “ntfs-config” tentunya ….tapi gatol (gagal total)…si ubuntu malah ngeluh:

Could not mount /dev/sda1 on /media/SQ003654

$LogFile indicates unclean shutdown (0, 1)

Failed to mount ‘/dev/sda1′: Operation not supported

Mount is denied because NTFS is marked to be in use. Choose one action:

Choice 1: If you have Windows then disconnect the external devices by

clicking on the ‘Safely Remove Hardware’ icon in the Windows

taskbar then shutdown Windows cleanly.

Choice 2: If you don’t have Windows then you can use the ‘force’ option for

your own responsibility. For example type on the command line:

mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /media/SQ003654 -o force

Or add the option to the relevant row in the /etc/fstab file:

/dev/sda1 /media/SQ003654 ntfs-3g force 0 0

print screen keluhannya::

could_not_mount

ngapain lagi ya??…….jurus kedua………  tanya si mbah google, ………dan Alhamdulillah saya dapat jawabannya di  blog ini:

  1. buka Applications → Accessories → Terminal
  2. ketik  sudo su
  3. buat direktori baru di  /mnt dengan perintah  mkdir /mnt/repair
  4. Paksa si ubuntu untuk mount:
    mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /mnt/repair -o force
    catatan:
/dev/sda1 adalah partisi  NTFS yang akan di mounting, jika anda mengalami masalah serupa sesuaikan letak partisi
  5. buka partisi NTFS dari open file browser, jika masalah masih belum selesai lakukan langkah selanjutnya:
  6. ketik perintah umount /mnt/repair
  7. sekali lagi buka partisi  NTFS
  8. back up file di  NTFS… good luck

setelah bikin posing ini dan baca ulang keluhan (message) dari si ubuntu baru sadar kalo perintah force mount dah ada di situ.tapi nggak mudeng……memang kadang pelajaran yang baru saja atau sudah lama kita dapatkan ….baru kita pahami setelah sepenggal waktu berlalu ….Arif juga manusia……bukan……bukan apa ya??…”bukan tidak dan tidak bukan mamalia”……..niru pernyataan guru matematika ku dulu…….”Y = X, hanya dan hanya jika X=Y…  he he.. dah lupa” … tapi nirunya juga salah kaprah…..tuh kan baru mudeng klo salah….(berusaha menghibur diri .. he he     …  :-) )

Convert Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) to Ubuntu Muslim Edition

Sumber: UbuntuME

To convert Ubuntu 8.10 (“Intrepid Ibex”), follow these steps:

Open a terminal window (Applications→Accessories→Terminal), and execute the following command:

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Add the following lines at the end of the file:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntume.team/ubuntu intrepid main # Ubuntu Muslim Edition
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntume.team/ubuntu intrepid main # Ubuntu Muslim Edition

Save the file and close the editor.
Run the following commands:

gpg --keyserver hkp://subkeys.pgp.net --recv-keys D1A0D2FB
gpg -a --export D1A0D2FB | sudo apt-key add -
sudo aptitude update

Then install the ubuntume package:

sudo aptitude install ubuntume

Answer ‘Yes’ when needed.
If you want to install the optional package WebStrict (Web Content Filtering tool), just run the following command:

sudo aptitude install webstrict

Finally, restart your computer to apply changes.

Report any problems on the forums.
